April brings with it a release we have been looking forward to for a long time, and we are glad to share it with you today.

The Bible is now in Prayminder

Today, we are excited to share that iOS version 1.4 is rolling out to all Prayminder users, bringing the Bible inside the app to everyone on iPhone and iPad. This is a moment we have been working toward for more than six months, and we're so glad to finally place it in your hands.

We want to use this letter to reflect a little on the people who made it possible.

This release exists thanks to YouVersion's Platform team and the foundation they have built. Throughout this work, they have been generous with us in every way that matters, with their time, their guidance, and their patience as we worked through what must have felt like an endless stream of questions. Every person we have met from that team has been kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping us build something that serves people well. We feel deeply blessed to have walked through this season alongside them.

We were also able to spend time with them in person at their new headquarters in Oklahoma last year. Those days left a lasting impression on us, both for the conversations themselves and for the warmth of the welcome.

Starting today, every Prayminder user on iOS can read the Bible inside the app and save verses straight to their prayer items. Now that it is here, we look forward to seeing how you make it your own. A warm thank you also goes to everyone who joined the beta and helped us test this in the weeks leading up to today. Your time and observations helped shape what this release has become. And as always, we warmly welcome your feedback as you begin to use this new piece of the experience.

Get the update

To start reading the Bible in Prayminder, make sure you are on version 1.4. Head to the App Store and update if you have not done so already. If automatic updates are enabled on your device, it may already be waiting for you.

What's next

This is only the first release of the Bible inside Prayminder, and we see it as a starting point rather than a finished piece. There is much we want to enrich around it in the months ahead, and your feedback will guide what we focus on first.

We are also looking forward to bringing the Bible to Android, so that this part of the experience can become available across both platforms.

Beyond that, we are exploring more ways to connect with YouVersion inside Prayminder. We will share more as these ideas take shape.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts on this day.

• We thank You for the long road that has led to this release, and for every hand and heart that has been part of it.
• We thank You for the team at YouVersion, for their kindness and their generosity.
• We pray for each person who will open the Bible inside Prayminder in the days ahead. May Your word meet them in the middle of their everyday life, and draw them gently closer to You.
• We pray for every prayer that will be offered alongside the Scripture saved in this app. May those prayers find their way into Your presence, and may Your presence find its way into them.

We place this release, and the season ahead, into Your hands.
